AxNano is an innovative commercialization company transforming how PFAS and other emerging contaminants are captured and destroyed. Our team develops and deploys equipment platforms that enable us to: restore clean water, create value for shareholders and improve the lives of stakeholders in impacted communities. AxNano sells deployable equipment platforms to customers in the waste management and environmental engineering industries in both government and commercial sectors. Equipment is available via Device-as-a-Service, lease or purchase.

The Problem

Environmental Challenges

Water is an essential ingredient for food, manufacturing, and energy. Untreated or poorly treated water impacts not only the health of humans, animals, and the environment, it also affects the economy. The World Bank reports that water pollution can reduce economic growth by one third. 

 

AxNano invests heavily into the research & development of advanced technology platforms to treat emerging contaminants, including per and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) that are commonly known as “forever chemicals.” Through partnerships with global corporations, research universities and federal agencies, our team sells deployable equipment platforms to customers in waste management and environmental engineering industries in both the government and commercial sectors.

Process Water

Water that is typically used in industrial processes, production facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power generation where contaminants are often introduced to the water cycle.

Waste Water

Water generated from combined waste streams (industrial, residential, agricultural) that is treated for release or reuse.

Source Water

Sources of water such as surface water (retention ponds, rivers, lakes) and groundwater commonly used for consumption.
